Star Compass began its journey in 2022 with one participant, a handful of support workers, and a vision to see the Australian disability landscape changed through a company that wasn’t the industry standard.

Star Compass began its journey in 2022 with one participant, a handful of support workers, and a vision to see the Australian disability landscape changed through a company that wasn’t the industry standard. We have been building our culture through enlisting the right people, and training them with tools and skills they will actually use.
We also commit to being as responsive and flexible as possible for our participants. We strive for innovation and always look to the future, watching those who are cutting fresh trails in the industry so we can adapt and adjust in response to the changing environment.
Our Christian heritage and values act as the true north, or guiding star behind why and how we do what we do. Our Pacific heritage imbues a culture of resilience, courage, and the ability to navigate whatever the environment throws at us. Hence, the name Star Compass.
We became a registered provider in 2024, and our team has seen much growth along the journey, both quantitative and qualitative, despite all the challenges that come with each day.
We have seen the lives and perspectives of both our participants and support workers change, so that new opportunities are taken, goals are achieved, and relationships are mended to build flourishing communities. Some stories of growth can be found in our Library.
