Variation of Support
This service offers a range of support, including help with daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, as well as assistance with community access, employment, and social activities. Star Compass SIL accommodation aims to empower individuals to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Daily Living Assistance - Assistance with daily living includes providing support for regular personal activities and supervision of personal daily tasks. At Star Compass we can provide assistance with daily living: such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication assistance, and domestic support including assistance with cleaning, gardening, shopping, and attending personal appointments.
Community Access - At Star Compass, we understand that participation in community, social, and civic activities is an important tool for developing your social skills and important part of daily living skills and healthy lifestyle. We endeavour to help you get involved with your community, be social, and participate in recreational activities with our range of social and community supports designed to help you enjoy your hobbies, build meaningful relationships, and strengthening your ability to participate independently.
24/7 Support – At Star Compass we support right through your daily routine and activities including overnight and around the clock care.
Behavioural support – We are able to we provide support to participants who may suffer from mental health issues with or without behaviour plans.
Accomodation assistance - we can assist you to find accommodation that suits you. We can assist you find SDA or SIL accommodation in your preferred location.
Travel and Transport Assistance - At Star Compass we have vehicles that can be used to transport participants. Our support workers will provide support throughout the trips.
