Allied health

Allied health at Star Compass is speech pathology-led. Early intervention therapy is delivered with oversight from our speech pathologist, in line with best practice and each participant's needs. Families and other allied health professionals are involved when that helps, and plans adjust as the child and their environment change. Our office is in Mount Gravatt. Therapy happens in homes and community settings across Brisbane and nearby South East Queensland.

Speech pathology

Star Compass delivers NDIS speech pathology in Brisbane with a strong paediatric focus and capacity for new referrals without long waitlists. Therapy happens where life happens: at home, at school pick-up, in the park, or wherever your family needs support to build communication, swallowing, and social participation goals.

Our speech pathologist provides evidence-based assessment and therapy, supervises allied health assistants (AHAs) on the team, and keeps plans aligned with each participant's NDIS goals. We also support adults who need speech pathology as part of their NDIS plan.

Allied health assistants and community access

Star Compass offers home-based services and community access through allied health assistants. That can include school pick-up and drop-off, or time at the park or library to build social skills. AHAs extend therapy into everyday routines under clinical oversight, so progress is not limited to a clinic appointment.

We have paediatric capacity across Brisbane and work to keep wait times short, so families are not left waiting months to start. If you are unsure whether speech pathology or broader allied health is the right starting point, begin with the NDIS referral form below and we will talk it through with you.
