For support coordinators
Submit an NDIS referral for a participant in Brisbane. Our team aims to respond within one business day to confirm details and next steps.
After that, we schedule a free meet and greet with the participant (and family where relevant) before services commence.
Star Compass works closely with support coordinators. We know your role carries real accountability for your participants, their families, and the outcomes in their plans. We take that seriously. When you refer to us, you stay informed, your participants are well supported, and details do not get missed.

What you can expect from us
High communication
We work in close partnership with support coordinators and understand that clear, timely communication is the foundation of that relationship. If something changes, an incident occurs, or a concern arises, we contact you the same day.
Regular progress note summaries
Our progress notes are written by experienced workers who understand that good documentation is part of good care. Notes are detailed, timely, and genuinely reflective of each participant's day-to-day. We provide regular summaries to support plan reviews, review-of-support conversations, and family updates.
Goal-aligned support
Support is built around each participant's funded goals and delivered in line with the direction you and the participant have agreed on. We work collaboratively with coordinators throughout, not only at the point of referral, so our approach stays aligned as goals and circumstances change.
Referral pathway
This pathway gives participants, families, and coordinators a clear start before services begin.
Submit an NDIS referral
Send us the participant's details and support needs. We currently support participants in Brisbane and surrounding areas. Use our referral form or contact us directly, whichever suits you.
We respond within one business day
Our team will confirm receipt of the referral and come back to you with details and next steps within one business day. No long waits, no ambiguity about where things stand.
No cost meet and greet
Before services start, we schedule a meet and greet with the participant and, where relevant, family or carers. This is a chance to get to know each other properly, ask questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before day one.
Stakeholder engagement and personalised care plan
We gather the agreed stakeholders, confirm communication preferences, and prepare a personalised care plan before regular supports begin.
Services commence
Once everything is confirmed and the participant is comfortable, we get started. We keep you updated from the first shift onward.
